Cheng Yi “Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Dynamical Systems"
World Scientific Publishing Company | 2003-11 | ISBN: 9812382763 | 204 pages | PDF | 5,91 MB
Fast-paced economic growth in Southeast Asia from the late 1960s until the mid-1990s brought increased attention to the overseas Chinese as an economically successful diaspora and their role in this economic growth. Events that followed, such as the transfer of Hong Kong and Macau to the People's Republic of China, the election of a non-KMT government in Taiwan, the Asian economic crisis and the plight of overseas Chinese in Indonesia as a result, and the durability of the Singapore economy during this same crisis, have helped to sustain this attention.

Stochastic Modeling of Manufacturing Systems Springer | 2005-09-06 | ISBN: 3540265791 | 363 pages | PDF | 3,7 MB
Manufacturing systems rarely perform exactly as expected and predicted. Unexpected events, such as order changes, equipment failures and product defects, affect the performance of the system and complicate decision-making. This volume is devoted to the development of analytical methods aiming at responding to variability in a way that limits its corrupting effects on system performance.

"Intelligent Systems and Signal Processing in Power Engineering (Power Systems)" Publisher: Springer | Pages: 372 | 2007-11-16 | ISBN: 3540731695 | PDF | 9 MB
Power engineering has become a multidisciplinary field ranging from linear algebra, electronics, signal processing to artificial intelligence including recent trends like bio-inspired computation, lateral computing and so on. In this book, Ukil builds the bridge between these inter-disciplinary power engineering practices. The book looks into two major fields used in modern power systems: intelligent systems and the signal processing.

Strength of Materials Fourth Edition by Pytel and Singer (Solutions 1-5 chap)
This book is being used as a course book of st. of materials in n.e.d. university but the great insufficiency of this book is about its text, which on many ocassions remains a mystery.one particular aspect which i would like to enlighten is about chapter 11 and the topic is the buckling phenomena which is particularly ill-explained.I hope my review would be given due consideration.
Always popular for civil engineering classes, the 10th edition of Fluid Mechanics with Engineering Applications has been enhanced to include a new treatment of the relationship between a fluid system and a control volume, which is then used as the basis for equations of continuum, energy, and momentum.
Fundamentals of Engineering Thermodynamics by Michael J Moran
The sixth edition retains the basic objectives of the first five editions which is to present a comprehensive and rigorous treatment of engineering thermodynamics from the classical viewpoint. It includes thorough development of the second law, featuring the entropy production concept, and energy analysis. Known for its emphasis on design, the authors have updated design applications to include economic considerations. Environmental topics and applications have been expanded and updated.
I have used this textbook for my engineering thermodynamics class and have found it to be a very interesting and straightforward text. Cengel and Boles begin with the basics and build up to more advanced topics. The problems in this text are challenging and reinforce concepts learned in previous chapters. Answers are included with some of the problems so that you can compare your answers when you finish.
